If you are new to Modo, follow our step-by-step guide below and you'll have access to the platform within minutes:
Step 1: Go to our landing page (modo.energy) or go directly to the platform (platform.modo.energy)
Step 1a: If you are on the landing page, click on the 'Get Started' button:
Step 2: Enter your email address and tick the box to confirm you have read and accept our terms and conditions.
Step 4: We'll send a link to your inbox to confirm your email address. Click on the 'Click to log in' button in the email, or copy and paste the link into your browser. If it doesn't land in your inbox please check your spam folder.
Please note the link expires in 3 minutes and can only be used once. A second link which can be accessed from the "Link timed out" screen remains valid for 30 minutes.
Step 5: Once you have followed the link in your email, you will be taken to the following screen:
Choose which plan you would like to sign up to and select 'Finish sign up'. If you need a reminder, details of our different plan options can be found here.
If your company has already signed up to a paid plan, you will be able to access it automatically (providing your email domains are the same).
Step 6: You're in! You will now be taken to our home page where you will be prompted to take a tour of the platform. If you accidentally skip the tour or have missed it, you can click the button below to take the tour again.
When you access the platform next time, you will only need to enter your email address - no passwords required!

Common issues when signing up
#1 Manual verification is required
Cause: The email address you are trying to use is not a work or academic email address.
Solution: Click "Sign up for free" and register using a work or academic email address.
If you believe you do need manual verification please go ahead and click the "Contact Us" button.
#2 "This email has been already registered"
Cause: The email address you are trying to use is already registered on the Modo platform.
Solution: Click "Sign in" and log in. (A step-by-step guide on logging on)

5. "Company doesn't exist on the platform yet"
Cause: Someone from your company has already begun the process of registering but did follow through to completion.
Solution: Click "Contact Us" to request that your company registration is reset and begin the "Sign up for free" process again (A step-by-step guide on signing up).
