What the Plotter does

The Plotter lets you visualise any of Modo Energy's datasets on interactive charts. Use it to explore data, compare trends, and create charts you can save and share with your team.

Finding the Plotter

Go to Data & Forecasts Explorer in the sidebar and select Plotter.

Available data

You can plot data from across the Terminal, including:

  • BESS revenues across all global regions

  • Power prices and forecasts

  • System data like load growth and generation

  • Input and output data from our models

Creating a chart

  1. Use the search bar or browse the data categories on the left

  2. Select the datasets you want to plot

  3. Check the box next to each series to add it to the chart

Adjusting the view

  • Use the date picker in the top right to change the time horizon

  • Click the download icon to export the chart data

  • Click Save plot to save the chart for later

Saving and sharing plots

When you save a plot, it's stored in the Saved plots section β€” accessible from the sidebar under Data & Forecasts Explorer.

Saved plots are available to everyone on your team, making it easy to share visualisations with colleagues without recreating them.

Each saved plot shows:

  • Chart name

  • Description (if added)

  • Who created it

Click any saved plot to view it. You can see charts created by yourself or by teammates across your company.
