Forecast usage limits

Understanding forecast usage limits

Written by Imrith Sangha

Every Terminal account includes a forecast usage allowance — a cap on how many forecasts you can run per quarter. Limits vary by plan.

How limits compare across plans

  • Free — enough to run a small number of forecasts per quarter, suited to evaluating the product or running occasional scenario analysis

  • Pro — meaningfully more capacity than Free, suited to analysts running forecasts as part of regular deal or portfolio work

  • Business and Enterprise — substantially more capacity again, designed for teams with ongoing, high-frequency forecasting needs

What affects how much a forecast costs

Forecast complexity varies — longer time horizons, more granular outputs, and broader asset configurations will draw more from your allowance.

What happens when you hit your limit

You'll see a notification in the Terminal. Your allowance resets at the start of each quarter.
