Learn how to manage seats, add users, approve requests, and change permissions

If you are given an Admin role, you are able to make changes to your account on the Your teammates page. This includes:

  • Adding new users

  • Approving requests to join the account

  • Change user permissions

If you can't access this page but need to, talk to your account owner or get in touch with the Modo Energy team.


Adding a new user

To add a new teammate:

  1. Head over to the Your teammates page

  2. Click Add teammates in the top right corner

  3. Enter the email you want to add

  4. Set a role for this member

    1. If you want them to be able to make changes to account access, set them as an Admin

    2. If you don't set a role, they will be given the lowest level of access User - read more on roles here

  5. Click Send invite

  6. An email will be sent to this team member inviting them to create an account

  7. Their email added to the list of members, marked as Pending (in orange)

Approving a user request

If a user tries to create an account on the Modo Energy Terminal with your company domain, they will need approval before being added to your account.

  1. If someone is requesting to join your account, you will receive an email

  2. Click the link to the Your teammates page

  3. Requests are marked in purple at the top

  4. Click ❌ to delete the request, βœ… to approve it

  5. If approving a user, you can find them in the list to edit their user role. The default will be User, which is the lowest level of access

  6. If approved, your team mate will be notified that their access has been granted and that they can finish creating their account


Changing user roles

You might also need to change the role of a teammate - read more on differences between roles or amending add-on seats.

  1. Click on the name of the user you would like to change the role

  2. Click on the dropdown for Role and select the correct option

  3. If you need to delete a user, do so by clicking Remove user in the top-right corner
