Add-on seats

Learn how add-on seats work, how they are assigned & managed in your account

Each add-on purchased is assigned as a seat to a specific team member. This guide explains how add-on seats work and how to manage them.

How add-on seats work

  • Each add-on is assigned per user – Seats are linked to individual team members

  • Seats are limited – You can only assign as many seats as you've purchased

  • Admins can manage seats – Only account admins can add, reassign, or remove seats


Viewing & changing add-on seats

You need to have Admin access to view or make changes to add-on seats - read more on user roles or adding a team member.

  1. Admins can navigate to your Teammates page in Settings

  2. Add-ons will be listed next to the team member's name

  3. Click on the team member whose permissions you want to change

  4. Click on the pencil icon under the Add-ons section to edit the team member's assignments

  5. Under the Add-ons section, all add-ons under the account subscription will be listed with the number of seats available in each add-on

  6. If the user has been assigned an add-on, the toggle next to the add-on will be on

  7. To add a user to an add-on, check there are enough available seats. Activate the toggle

  8. If an add-on has no remaining seats, the toggle is greyed out. Remove another user from this add-on to have a free seat available
